Hello Chief ! For your info , the Heritage Dept is doing some excavation work on Victoria Bastion opposite St Francis . I stumbled you blog while searching for the old photos surrounding the excavation site. I am a history buff anyway , if youre coming to the site do let me know my email

I chanced upon your site whilst trawling for old photographs of Malacca. What a treasure trove of pictures! Thank you for preserving a big part of Malacca's history in this wonderful site. Born in Malacca, and currently residing overseas. Grew up pretty much in Bukit Baru, spent the better part of my 20 years around Sin Hoe Garden and Bukit Baru/ Piatu.
